Apex Signages delivered a high-visibility automotive signage solution in Singapore for DongFeng EV Car and Volt Autocare, installed at a petrol station along Bukit Timah. The project required illuminated signage that could operate safely within a petrol station environment while maintaining strong brand presence for EV and hybrid vehicle services.
To meet these requirements, Apex Signages fabricated and installed a PVC fabric lightbox for DongFeng EV and a twinwall lightbox for Volt Autocare, providing excellent light diffusion, durability, and compliance with strict site regulations. The project was completed in July 2025.

Design & Fabrication Highlights
DongFeng EV – PVC Fabric Lightbox Signage
The DongFeng EV signage was fabricated as a PVC fabric lightbox measuring 3355mm (W) × 850mm (H). PVC fabric faces provide smooth, evenly diffused illumination with minimal glare—ideal for large-format branding visible to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
This format is commonly used for outdoor building signage in Singapore, especially in semi-outdoor or covered areas such as petrol stations.
Volt Autocare – Twinwall Lightbox Signage
The Volt Autocare signage was produced as a vertical twinwall lightbox measuring 1120mm (W) × 2730mm (H). Twinwall systems offer structural rigidity and consistent LED diffusion, making them suitable for tall, high-impact automotive signage panels.
Service icons and directional messaging were integrated for wayfinding and to clearly communicate EV, hybrid, and automotive services.
Additional branding elements included 350mm diameter 3D acrylic pop-up logos, fabricated using 10mm thick acrylic bases with UV-printed graphics.
Installation Process & Safety Compliance
As installation took place within an operational petrol station, Apex Signages followed strict installation and safety guidelines, including controlled work zones and approved fixing methods.
Lightweight PVC fabric and twinwall lightbox systems were selected to reduce structural load and support compliant mounting, coordinated closely with site management and aligned with Singapore workplace safety requirements.
Lighting & Visual Impact
Both lightbox systems use energy-efficient LED lighting to achieve uniform illumination without hotspots or shadowing. The clean white glow improves readability day and night while remaining non-intrusive in a petrol station environment.
The combination of illuminated lightboxes with 3D acrylic elements creates depth and contrast for a modern, premium automotive presentation.
